Using the Built-In Motion Sensor

You use the built-in motion sensor by rotating or accelerating your device. The default configuration applies these manipulations to specific musical elements as shown below:

  • A rotation around the X-axis controls the tempo
  • A rotation around the Y-axis is applied to the velocity
  • A general acceleration affects the articulation

The built-in controller can be turned on or off. If you are a left-hander you might want to reverse the rotation around the Y-axis by touching the hand symbol.

Consider using a gamepad if you are looking for an improved control of your musical performance.
